Were looking for a highly organised and personable Ward Administrator to be the welcoming first point of contact across BSW (Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) Community Hospitals.In this vital role, youll help ensure patients experience a smooth, well-coordinated journey from admission through to discharge. You will deliver a professional and efficient service to patients, members of the public, colleagues, and external professionals via telephone, email, and post.Working closely with the nursing and multidisciplinary teams, youll provide comprehensive administrative support that keeps the ward running efficiently - freeing up clinicians to focus on delivering outstanding patient care. Base The role is based on Orchard Ward at Swindon Intermediate Care Centreand is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week.What You'll Be Doing Manage a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks to support day-to-day ward operations Support care coordination, helping to ensure a smooth patient journey from admission to discharge Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records throughout the pathway Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism at all times Deliver clear and effective communication with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders Work proactively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment Build strong working relationships through confidence, empathy, and a respectful approach Manage complex or sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism Package Description As a Band 3 Ward Administrator, youll be part of our valued team at HCRG Care Group.
