  • Provide personalised academic support and instruction to SEND students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored education plans
  • Foster a inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of SEND students
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
  • Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining detailed records and communicating with parents/guardians as needed
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in the SEND field
  • Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or a related field (e.g. , teaching assistant certificate, degree in Special Education)
  • Previous experience working with SEND students in an educational setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of their unique needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of SEND students
