Job Description

Are you passionate about Warehouse and Logistics and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team at our Cullompton site, supporting our Bakeries contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck with clamp attachments to support day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Use warehouse systems to accurately receive, store, pick, and dispatch goods, ensuring customers receive the correct products on time. This includes unloading and reloading trunk and rigid box vehicles.
• Handle all goods with care and precision, maintaining high standards of quality and safety at all times.
• Replenish stock and consolidate inventory to keep the warehouse organised and prepared to meet demand.
• Support general warehouse duties, including labelling, and preparing goods for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment, ensuring all equipment is used responsibly and kept in good working order.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to warehouse procedures, promptly reporting any issues or defects to support continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• Counterbalance forklift licence with clamp attachments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
