We’re looking for kind, reliable and compassionate Home Care Assistants to join our Care Expert Team across Mid & West Cornwall.

At Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall, we support people to stay in the place they love most, their home.

You’ll provide care and support with daily routines, personal care, medication, meals and companionship, helping our customers feel safe, comfortable and independent at home.

Our care visits are a minimum of 1 hour, so you have the time to provide unrushed, person-centred care and build meaningful relationships with the people you support.

This is a meaningful role for someone who wants to make a real difference every day.

You must hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a reliable car, and have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

As a Home Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include

Providing high-quality care tailored to each customer’s needs

Supporting with personal care in a dignified and respectful way

Helping with medication, meals and daily routines

Providing companionship and reassurance

Supporting customers to remain independent at home

Following care plans and keeping clear records

Being a friendly, reliable and familiar face

Full training will be provided, so you feel confident and supported in the care you deliver.

Hours

20 hours per week

Overtime available

Weekday availability required

Alternate weekend working required

Flexible working patterns, where possible

Requirements

For this role, you’ll need

A kind, compassionate and dependable approach

Good communication skills

The ability to follow care plans

A full UK driving licence

Access to a reliable car

The right to work in the UK

Previous care experience is welcome, but not essential, full training will be provided.
