Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing business in Sparkford. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to develop their career within a supportive mechanical production environment, with full training and ongoing support provided.

Key Duties

  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company regulations.
  • Operate and maintain factory machinery and equipment.
  • Assemble products using hand and air tools.
  • Inspect and test products to ensure they meet required specifications.
  • Package and label goods for internal and external distribution.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support the optimisation of production processes.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a factory or production environment is desirable.
  • Experience using machinery, hand tools, or production equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong work ethic with a reliable and conscientious approach.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
