We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Adult Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Castle Cary, supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health needs.

The Role
As an Adult Support Worker, you will provide day-to-day support tailored to each individual's needs, promoting wellbeing, independence, and positive outcomes in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting young adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions
- Providing emotional and practical support with daily living activities
- Promoting independence, confidence, and social inclusion
- Supporting individuals to attend appointments, activities, and community outings
- Managing behaviours that may challenge in a calm and professional manner
- Following care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns appropriately
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs is essential
- Experience working with learning disabilities and mental health support
- Confident supporting young adults with varying levels of need
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
