Collection of blood samples from patients by venepuncture or by capillary samples Accurate labelling of blood samples Contribute to the prompt transport and delivery of blood specimens to the Laboratory Participation in the provision of an efficient and continuous Phlebotomy service Work within standard safety procedures as laid down by the Laboratory Safety Officer Work in accordance with the Pathology Standard Operating Procedures and Infection Control Policies Maintain a professional manner, together with a courteous approach to patients, relativesand staff Be confidential at all times regarding staff and patients Participate in staff appraisal according to Trust policies
