Salaried GP

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of our experienced and supportive clinical team.

Main duties will include

Face-to-face, telephone and online consultations Managing acute and chronic conditions Home visits where appropriate Reviewing and signing repeat prescriptions Processing clinical correspondence and test results Developing care plans and supporting health promotion Referring patients to other services where appropriate Maintaining accurate clinical records The post-holder will work autonomously whilst contributing to the wider practice team, participating in clinical audit, quality improvement and practice development activities.

Appointment structure

15-minute appointments 24 patient consultations per day 1 x 30-minute home visit slot Total of 25 patient contacts per day The Salaried GP will be responsible for their own patient-associated correspondence, referrals, administration and paperwork. The role requires adherence to professional standards, confidentiality, safeguarding, infection control, equality and diversity, and all relevant practice policies and procedures.
