The Youth Enquiry Service (YES) in Barnstaple supports young people aged 11-25. We have created a safe space for young people to develop help-seeking behaviour from trusted relationships with trained and experienced adults who are able to listen well and respond accordingly. You will get to know young people by providing a warm, safe and structured environment which enables young people to explore difficulties and develop solutions. We are looking for someone who will understand the challenges faced by young people. You will have the skills to build relationships of trust and understanding, whilst responding to a young person’s needs through a trauma-informed lens.
Please have a read through of the job description and person specification for more information and if you think you have what it takes then we would love to hear from you. We welcome applications from those with lived experience who have transferable skills.
