About this role
The Role
To provide support to a 5-year-old boy with autism. He is non-verbal but can copy some words. He struggles with his balance and co-ordination and uses a disability buggy. He is looking for a support worker to take him out into the community and to build trusting relationships with other adults. Must have SEN experience.
Main Duties
- To attend local parks and to access the community.
- To attend the beach. He is a sand lover!
- To occasionally go swimming (employee would be expected to get into the pool).
- To go to the zoo and theme parks.
- To attend soft play.
- encourage to eat and drink.
- To provide personal care, such as changing nappies.

- Car owner with driving licence and business insurance essential
*This role is a lone working position, and an Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) is required for all staff undertaking the role*

6 hours to be worked in school holidays.
