About this role
You will be expected to join the senior medical team in running outpatient clinics, supporting patients having day case and inpatient cancer treatment by providing high quality consultant delivered care including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff. Take ownership for and deliver their own workload. Contribute to the medical leadership, management and innovation within haematology services. Offer support and training to all non-consultant grade doctors within the unit. Promote inter-disciplinary working in the department and across the hospital. To ensure that current standards and evidence-based practice are applied. Participate in clinical audit program, including both departmental and multidisciplinary audit. Contribute to research and innovative practice within haematology.
