We do require alternative weekend availability as part of the role, but we work with you to build a rota that supports your commitments wherever possible.

We’re currently recruiting Community Care Workers to support people across Honiton and the surrounding rural areas—helping them live safely, comfortably and independently in their own homes.

Your role

You’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care, including

Personal care delivered with dignity and respect

Supporting meals, hydration and nutrition

Providing companionship and emotional support

Light household tasks in line with care plans

Medication support (after training)

Moving and handling (including hoists)

Catheter care (where trained)

Lone working safely within risk assessments

Recording care notes using our digital system

Reporting any concerns or safeguarding issues

You’ll also complete a paid 3-day induction, including classroom-based learning, shadowing experienced carers, and hands-on preparation to build your confidence.

Essential requirements

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Willingness to travel across Honiton and surrounding areas

Right to work in the UK

Willingness to complete mandatory training and an enhanced DBS

Availability to work alternative weekends
