We're looking for an Operative to join our Southwest Water team based in Bodmin.

We're seeking an Operative to help us deliver clean water mains and service schemes across Devon and Cornwall. In this role, you'll be installing new water mains, connecting services, and supporting maintenance work that ensures reliable, high-quality drinking water reaches communities throughout the region.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll be working within the Southwest Water team, supporting them in delivering essential water infrastructure projects. Your day to day will include:

-Installing water mains and services, working with various pipe sizes and materials

-Following water quality standards and hygiene processes to maintain safe drinking water

-Completing documentation using a tablet, ensuring accurate records for each job

-Working within timescales to meet targets whilst maintaining quality standards

-Taking responsibility for personal and site safety, using vehicles, plant, and materials correctly

What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great for you if

-You hold a Full driving licence

-You have (or are willing to obtain) a CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene training

-You enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment

-You're committed to following safety procedures and creating an inclusive workplace

-You can commute to our Bodmin depot independently
