Duties as Primary School Teacher
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as a Primary School Teacher
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management in line with school policies
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Support pupils’ academic progress and engagement throughout the school day
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil wellbeing at all times
- Manage classroom routines confidently to ensure continuity of learning
- Provide clear feedback and handover notes for school staff
- Represent Class Act professionally while working as a Primary School Teacher
Ideal Primary School Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Confidence teaching across different primary year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply teaching
- Positive communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments as a Primary School Teacher
