We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Community Adult Support Specialist to join our dedicated team in Castle Cary. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with additional needs to live fulfilling, independent, and meaningful lives within their community.
In this role, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and maintain independence. You will be part of a supportive team that truly values dignity, respect, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support to adults with varying additional needs
- Encourage independence, choice, and daily living skills development
- Support individuals in accessing the community, activities, and appointments
- Promote wellbeing, safety, and positive mental health
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging support sessions
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and the wider care team
- Maintain accurate records and follow care/support plans
Shift Pattern
- Full-time permanent position
- Mixture of day shifts, evenings, and alternate weekends
- Rotating rota designed to support work-life balance
- No two days are the same, offering variety and meaningful engagement
