Team Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Team Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of sewing machinist within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of production machinists
- Allocate and organise daily work tasks to meet production schedules
- Prepare jobs and ensure materials and resources are available
- Coordinate materials and job flow across the production process
- Liaise closely with the company Production Planner to maintain workflow
- Manage and monitor production processes and performance KPIs
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Carry out inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards
- Motivate and develop the team to achieve productivity targets
- Machine set-up and perform first line maintenance
Key Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
- Sewing manufacturing experience is essential
- Experience working with industrial sewing machines
- Strong organisational and process management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and support a production team
- Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
