CNC SLIDING HEAD SETTER/OPERATOR
ESS Employment Ltd is looking for a CNC Sliding Head Setter and Operator. Operating and setting using Fanuk, Siemens & Mazatrol control panels. You will be required to set and/or operate various CNC machines, monitoring the machining process to ensure the finished parts are to a high standard.
The ideal CNC Sliding Head Setter/Operator will have previous experience programming/setting sliding head machines, possess experience and knowledge of Fanuc and have a good attention to detail.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to work on complex manufactured components.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the following: -
- Precision engineering to tight tolerances
- Star and Citizen sliding head programming experience would be a significant benefit
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe/Setter/Operator/Miller/Turner
- Mechanical engineering
- Reading engineering drawings
- Operating/loading machinery
- Working within an engineering environment
- Supply to high profile customers in various sectors
- Experience of operating and setting a sliding head machine
- Ability to set intricate parts for milling
- Flexible and adaptable to be able to complete all tasks with accuracy, and within fine tolerances
- Experience with either Fanuc, Siemens or Mazatrol is essential
- Experience of precision components is highly desirable
