As Production Planner, you'll play a key role in coordinating schedules, ensuring materials are available, and helping the business deliver on time and to the highest standards. Key Duties

  • Develop and manage production schedules aligned with customer demand and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure labour and materials are available, identifying and addressing any shortages.
  • Review bills of materials and raw material stock levels to prevent disruption.
  • Track and report on manufacturing progress, ensuring deadlines are met and issues are communicated.
  • Review supplier and production performance, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans to maximise output.
  • Generate and analyse key production KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, operations or engineering.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a production planning or coordination role.
  • Proven experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
