GRILL CHEF

About this role

Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and cook grilled food items to a high standard, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

Operate and maintain grill equipment safely and efficiently.

Prepare ingredients, including marinating meats, portioning food, and preparing sauces.

Monitor food cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety compliance.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Follow health and safety procedures and food hygiene regulations.

Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ordering supplies.

Minimise food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients.

Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Ensure customer dietary requirements and allergy information are followed.

Working Hours Requirement

Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday as part of the regular working schedule.

Flexibility to work evenings, bank holidays, and additional shifts when required by the business.

Skills and Experience

Experience working as a Grill Chef or in a similar kitchen role.

Knowledge of grilling techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
