Plymouth Community Homes • Plymouth, South West England
About this role
Act with Empathy. Influence with Fairness. Make a Difference in Plymouth.
About the role
Are you a compassionate and fair-minded professional looking for your next step?
This is a great opportunity to move into a senior role where you’ll use your experience to support others, guide decision-making and help shape how we deliver services to our leasehold and shared ownership customers.
Working alongside the Homeownership Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting colleagues and influencing a consistent, high-quality service. Your input will be vital in providing direction, sharing expertise and helping your team navigate more complex or sensitive situations.
You will be a trusted point of support—someone who listens carefully, weighs things up fairly and helps ensure the right outcomes for both customers and the organisation.
If you’re ready for something new where your judgement, approach and values really matter, this could be the role for you.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who brings both empathy and sound judgement, alongside experience in a housing or property setting:
A naturally understanding approach, with the ability to see situations from different perspectives
The confidence to make and support fair, balanced decisions, particularly in complex or sensitive cases
Experience of supporting or mentoring colleagues, helping to build confidence and capability
The ability to remain calm and considered under pressure, offering guidance in challenging situations
Strong communication skills, with a style that is clear, respectful and supportive
A collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues across teams
A positive, solutions-focused attitude and a commitment to doing the right thing
