Static Plant Operative

Our client, a successful aggregates company, are looking for a static plant operative to join their team based in St Dennis area - Full training provided.

What we offer

• £12.71 per hour -Any hours worked over 40hrs time and a ½.
• Monday - Thursday 06.30-16.00
• Friday – 06.30-15.00
• 12 weeks temp - perm
• Immediate start.

The role

Working as part of a team processing IBA to aid in the recovery of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals through the operation of static plant.

• Activities include · Plant patrol, ensuring free flow of material though the processing plants and to aid metal recoveries.
• Ensuring a clean and tidy site is maintained throughout the working day.
• Processing plant inspections/general maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Working as part of the team in all areas of the site
• Reporting any safety concerns or near misses to the site management team
• Forklift truck operations (training given if required)
• Participation in the site Health and Safety meetings

The requirements

• Driving licence and own vehicle.
• Safety boots.
