Hi everyone,

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and patient person to spend a few hours a day with our son.

About him

  • He is 15 years old and a friendly, easy-going teenager.
  • He has a severe cognitive disability but is physically very active and capable.
  • He is non-verbal but communicates using some pointing and a communication device.
  • He enjoys routine and consistency. After a few days, you'll quickly get to know his favourite activities, toys, and places to visit.

What the role involves

Ideally, we are looking for support on weekday mornings (Monday to Friday), although afternoon availability would also work.

The role would mainly involve spending time with our son and supporting him in activities he enjoys, such as

  • Going for walks
  • Visiting the local swimming pool
  • Spending time at home with his favourite toys and activities

We would prefer a mix of outings and home-based activities, depending on the day and Isaac's preferences.

Looking Ahead

If you both build a good rapport, we would love to have ongoing occasional support throughout the rest of the year.

If you are interested or would like more information, please get in touch. We would be delighted to hear from you.
