YUNO Sexual Health is looking to appoint a motivated and kind Senior Health Care Support Worker to join our team. Great communication and interpersonal skills are essential and applicants should be able to be demonstrate the ability to be forward thinking and passionate about delivering a high standard of care. Previous sexual health experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be expected to be a responsive and conscientious professional that is able to work as part of the Multidisciplinary team.
YUNO Sexual Health covers Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucester. The hours required are mainly based within North Somerset, but flexibility is required and expected to work across the other YUNO Sexual Health sites.
The hours required are;
Monday 8.30-5.30 (8.5hrs)
Thursday 9.30-7.30 (9.5hrs)
Friday 8.30-5.30 (8.5hrs)
Saturday 9.00-1.00 (1 in 4 in the Bristol service)
Chaperone patients having intimate procedures.
Venepuncture.
Processing patients samples and microscopy (preparing slides and reading them).
To carry out a range of clinical duties with minimal / no supervision, including blood pressure monitoring, body temperature, pulse rate and respiration rate and testing of urine samples, including pregnancy testing.
Providing assistance to the nursing team and wider MDT as required.
