An exceptional specialist SEND school in South West London is seeking an innovative, compassionate and ambitious Maths Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2026.

This successful and well-resourced school supports children and young people aged 2-19 with visual impairment, multi-sensory impairment and additional complex needs. The Role

You will teach Maths across a range of abilities and pathways, including GCSE and A-Level, while adapting learning to meet individual sensory and educational needs. Working within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering engaging, accessible and ambitious learning experiences that enable every student to thrive.

The position would suit either an experienced practitioner or a teacher with strong mainstream Maths experience who is looking to move into specialist education. Full specialist training and excellent CPD opportunities are provided, including support towards QTVI qualifications if desired.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Maths to GCSE level (A-Level desirable)
  • A creative and adaptable teaching style
  • A passion for inclusive education and pupil-centred learning
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and holistic student development

Previous SEND or sensory impairment experience is welcomed but not essential. The school is keen to hear from outstanding teachers with the right values, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Salary & Contract

  • Teachers Main/Upper Scale (Inner London)
  • SEN Allowance
  • Full-time
  • Fixed-term contract until August 2027
  • September 2026 start
