Attendance Officer

About this role

Fairfield High School is seeking to appoint an Attendance Officer who will work in a team alongside key staff in school to promote excellent attendance, reduce levels of absence and work with children and families to promote high levels of attendance.

The successful candidate will

  • Promote and support high levels of attendance
  • Support students in achieving their full academic potential
  • Promote a positive attendance and punctuality culture
  • Form strong relationships with parents/carers

You will be considered as part of the wider Pastoral Team.

This post is for 37 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 Inset Days. Salary is based on NJC points 8 – 12, full time equivalent of £26,824 - £28,598. Actual salary will be £23,072 - £24,598 per year (pending pay award). Opportunity to discuss some off site working.

Experience of SOL attendance tracker and SIMS is desirable but training can be given.
