Job Overview

Kenect Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our client's team in Bagshot (GU19). This temporary position offers consistent evening shifts and the opportunity to work within a busy retail environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, helping to create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping, and emptying bins
• Cleaning and maintaining office, retail, and communal areas
• Ensuring all assigned areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ensuring you always follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Inspecting cleaning equipment regularly and reporting any faults or replacement requirements
• Using cleaning materials and equipment correctly to minimise waste and misuse
• Supporting other team members and working flexibly as part of a team
• Assisting with monitoring daily cleaning activities to ensure company standards are maintained

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
• Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Flexible approach to work
