The role
As our registered manager (of the 16+ semi-supported accommodation) you will work closely with the operations manager, head of operations, and company directors to ensure full compliance with the Supported accommodations regulation 2023 and the quality standards.
Implement new and monitor existing policies, procedures and systems to ensure high quality care.
Recruit and induct new staff, and develop and retain a motivated, skilled workforce through training and supervision.
Create a culture of consistency, ambition, accountability.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment that supports positive outcomes for young people.
Liaise with external professionals, including placement teams with business growth at the forefront of what you do.
Take an active role in the marketing of the homes in order to attract new placements.
Someone who will bring strong leadership and promote a culture where staff focus on individual service users' needs.
Essential Criteria
Level 5 in Leadership and Management- Children and young people (or equivalent)
Minimum of 5 years experience in supported living homes, including 2 years management experience.
Excellent knowledge of Ofsted's inspection framework.
Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and risk management.
Available to work flexibly, within the home 9-5 Monday-Friday and potentially over the weekends some weeks, with rota-based on-call duties.
