Campaign Operations Director

About this role

A growing, fast-paced marketing agency is seeking a Campaigns Operations Director to play a pivotal role in scaling client delivery and driving business growth.

This is a senior leadership position, combining strategic client management, campaign operations oversight and new business support. You will work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver high-impact B2B and B2C campaigns, while ensuring operational excellence across all programmes.

The opportunityYou will take ownership of campaign operations across key retained accounts, leading the development, implementation and optimisation of end-to-end campaign workflows. Alongside this, you will support new business growth through proposal development and client engagement.

You will act as the central point of contact for campaign delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to budget and to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery and optimisation of multi-channel campaigns across B2B and B2C clients
  • Own client relationships for key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Develop and refine campaign processes, ensuring scalable and efficient delivery
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across digital, creative and content
  • Oversee resource planning, including freelancers and external suppliers
  • Manage campaign setup, troubleshooting and implementation
  • Support the development of compelling tenders and presentations for new business
  • Ensure all campaign activity aligns with commercial objectives, KPIs and client expectations
  • Produce reporting and drive continuous improvement across campaign execution
  • Contribute to senior leadership discussions and wider business strategy

About you

  • Strong background in campaign operations within a marketing or agency environment
  • Experience delivering integrated B2B and B2C campaigns
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance delivery quality with profitability
  • Highly organised with excellent project and resource management capability
  • Confident communicator, able to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solutions-led approach
  • Comfortable working with data, performance metrics and campaign optimisation
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Curious, adaptable and motivated to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
