About this role

We are looking to recruit a Therapy Assistant (TA) to work with our inpatient team.

Patients may require support and encouragement to undertake these tasks, especially if they have a disability or have lost their confidence. You will need to work flexibly with a range of adults, many of them older, to enable them to achieve independence. This will require clear communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach. You will also need to be organised as you will take on a variety of administrative and departmental duties within the team.

***ADVERT MAY CLOSE EARLY DUE TO HIGH APPLICATIONS***

A Rehabilitation Assistant’s typical working day will include seeing patients on their own on the ward, assisting therapists with treatment sessions, and performing required non clinical task
