A Driver at AGP Foods Ltd is responsible for transporting food products safely and efficiently to retail stores and customer locations across London. The role involves vehicle operation, delivery coordination, loading/unloading goods, and maintaining delivery records.
Key Responsibilities
Safely drive company vehicles including Luton vans and smaller delivery vans
Deliver food products to stores and customer sites on schedule
Load and unload products at warehouses and delivery points
Plan delivery routes and follow assigned schedules
Carry out vehicle inspections before and after trips
Maintain delivery logs, mileage, and fuel records
Communicate with warehouse staff, stores, and management regarding deliveries
Follow all UK traffic laws and company safety procedures
Support warehouse operations when required
Requirements
Valid UK Driving Licence
Clean driving record
Experience in commercial or delivery driving preferred
Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles
Good communication and customer service skills
Physically fit for lifting and moving goods
Knowledge of warehouse and delivery procedures
Right to work in the United Kingdom
