House keeper

Overall Responsibility -

To help provide the quality standards in hygiene that ensure guests’ comfort and safety during their visit. Setting the quality standard followed by the rest of the organization.

These are the key results within this job function that will enable achievement of overall responsibilities -

Key Results

Rooms Quality - all letting rooms to be cleaned to the required standard.

Repairs and Maintenance - liaise with Head Housekeeper to ensure “24 fix-it policy”

Health & Safety - all safety standards adhered to, as identified in safety policy

Teamwork - understanding of customer pressures on fellow workers and ensuring a work-with mentality

Stock Control - efficient stock and order procedures for all cleaning materials and hospitality products. Laundry stock levels managed efficiently.

Time Management – in the absence of the Head Housekeeper organize staffing levels,

manage the team and allocate staff to rooms to ensure all rooms are cleaned each day

within time allocations. Major Spring-clean schedule for each room should be adhered to. .
