About this role

To ensure safe preparation, positioning, and coordination of patients during advanced breast imaging interventions, maintaining vigilance throughout procedures to support patient comfort and clinical safety. You will be responsible for ensuring all required equipment and procedural setups are completed accurately in line with clinical requirements. To support the delivery of specialist imaging investigations by assisting with procedural requirements in interventional breast care, ensuring readiness of materials and supporting clinicians during diagnostic and therapeutic activities. You will contribute to maintaining smooth workflow within complex procedural environments. To apply advanced observational skills to support image acquisition decisions during examinations, recognising when additional imaging inputs may be required to support further clinical review. You will assist in ensuring imaging outputs meet diagnostic expectations for consultant evaluation. To contribute to the coordination of departmental activity through effective prioritisation of tasks within a dynamic clinical setting, ensuring continuity of service delivery across varied operational demands. You will help maintain structured workflow across different imaging functions throughout the day. To support the integration of new and developing practices within the imaging environment, contributing to the adoption of updated techniques, equipment usage, and evolving service approaches.
