Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator Cluster 4
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator looking to forward their career.
We are looking for a full time (37.5 hour per week) Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator to join our team, to proactively manage the patient pathway from referral to discharge; ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.
The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering general clerical, reception and administrative duties to support the provision of patient care and high levels of patient satisfaction. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop staff, working and dealing with the public, handling complaints and maintaining effective working relationships in a busy multi-disciplinary environment.
The successful applicant will
- Demonstrate ability to pay attention to detail, reliably check and record data and be able to self-check completed work
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a flexible, adaptable approach and operative effectively within a team
- Have a strong working knowledge of national performance targets and be able to apply this to their everyday work when dealing with outpatient appointments
