About this role
The Senior Transformation Programme Manager will provide senior leadership for the coordination, governance and assurance of a portfolio of complex transformation programmes delivered through the Provider Collaborative and across the wider Integrated Care System (ICS).
Reporting to the Director of Transformation, the postholder will ensure robust arrangements are in place for programme planning, delivery oversight, risk management, benefits realisation and performance reporting. The role operates within a complex matrix environment and works closely with senior leaders across multiple provider organisations and system partners to support effective and timely delivery of agreed transformation priorities.
The postholder will offer professional leadership to programme and project staff, support high‑quality governance and assurance, and enable informed decision‑making through clear, accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide senior leadership for the coordination, governance and assurance of transformation programmes delivered through the Provider Collaborative and across the ICS.
- Support the Director of Transformation by overseeing programme planning, delivery, risk management, benefits realisation and performance reporting.
- Maintain oversight of progress, risks and interdependencies, escalating issues appropriately through agreed governance routes.
- Prepare high‑quality reports and briefings for senior leadership, Provider Collaborative and ICS forums.
- Work collaboratively with contracting, finance colleagues and system partners to support value for money and delivery of agreed outcomes.

In order to meet the needs of the Trust you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.

Reporting to the Director of Transformation, the postholder will support the effective planning, delivery and oversight of transformation activity, ensuring that programmes are delivered to agreed objectives, timescales and quality standards. The role operates within a complex matrix environment, working with senior leaders across provider organisations and system partners to support shared ownership of delivery and outcomes.
The postholder will maintain oversight of programme performance, identifying risks, interdependencies and capacity constraints, and ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution through agreed governance structures. They will support robust governance and assurance arrangements, producing clear, accurate and timely reports and briefings for senior leadership, Provider Collaborative and ICS forums to enable effective decision‑making.
The role will work closely with contracting and finance colleagues to support financial oversight of transformation programmes, including the identification and tracking of benefits, efficiencies and productivity improvements, ensuring value for money and alignment with agreed financial objectives.
The postholder will provide leadership, professional support and development to programme and project staff, contributing to the development of transformation capability across the Provider Collaborative. They will foster effective collaboration across partner organisations, promoting a culture of transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
The role will ensure that all programme activity is delivered in line with Trust policies, system governance requirements, and information governance standards, and will contribute to the ongoing development and effectiveness of transformation delivery across the organisation.
