Are you a skilled Preschool Lead Teacher with a passion for the Montessori method?
Action Staffing is recruiting for an inspirational Lead Teacher to join a beautiful setting in Streatham. We are looking for an educator who understands how to create a "prepared environment" where children are encouraged to be independent, curious, and confident learners.
If you have a background in Montessori studies or experience working in a Montessori setting, we want to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a room with autonomy and support.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Leadership
Lead the planning and delivery of a rich, child-led curriculum that blends the EYFS with Montessori principles.
Environment
Create a stimulating, organized, and accessible learning environment that fosters independence.
Observation
Conduct high-quality observations and assessments to track children’s progress and identify next steps.
Mentorship
Guide and support Junior Practitioners, modeling best practice in teaching and learning.
Partnership
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, keeping them updated on their child’s development.
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (Essential).
Experience
Proven experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner.
Montessori
A Montessori Diploma or previous experience in a Montessori setting is highly preferred.
Passion
A genuine commitment to child-led learning and high standards.
