Our client, a highly reputable classic car restoration workshop near Liss, Hampshire, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Classic Car Technician to join their expanding team.
This is an exceptional Classic Car Technician opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals passionate about vintage and modern vehicle restoration, offering the chance to work on prestigious projects within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Duties as a
Classic Car Technician
- Carry out vehicle diagnostics and repairs to high standards of craftsmanship
- Perform restoration and refurbishment projects on classic cars according to customer specifications
- Dismantle, label, and organise vehicle parts and assemblies efficiently
- Conduct fabrication and welding work, either independently or with guidance, depending on skill level
- Assess components to restore or replace parts in line with quality standards
- Compile detailed parts lists to facilitate procurement and project management
- Reassemble vehicles, ensuring all workmanship exceeds customer expectations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment at all times
- Engage in continuous learning to develop new skills in fabrication, welding, and restoration techniques
Requirements of the
Classic Car Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' workshop experience within the motor trade
- Genuine interest in classic cars, with experience or a strong desire to learn restoration and welding techniques
- Solid knowledge of automotive systems, both modern and vintage
- Willingness to develop fabrication and welding skills
- Driven, reliable, and motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Patient, methodical approach with the ability to manage projects over several months
