Mechanical Manager

Ensure full compliance with HTMs, statutory requirements and Trust policies for all mechanical systems. Act as Authorised Person and technical lead for mechanical engineering, providing Trust-wide assurance and advice. Lead delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring safety, performance, and service continuity. Manage mechanical services teams and contractors across multiple sites, including performance, development and accountability. Oversee CAFM systems to ensure accurate asset data, compliance tracking and reporting. Lead audits, risk management, and incident investigations, ensuring actions are implemented and risks mitigated. Manage budgets, procurement and contract performance, ensuring value for money. Support lifecycle planning and capital projects, providing expert input into asset replacement and resilience. Produce performance reports and present to senior stakeholders, supporting governance and decision-making. Refer to JD for dull description
