Part‑Time PPA Teacher - Specialist SEN School (Sydenham) September 2026 Start | Monday-Thursday | £180-£260 per day (Umbrella)

A welcoming and well‑resourced SEN school in Sydenham is looking for an experienced and flexible PPA Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This part‑time role runs Monday to Thursday, offering a varied timetable across the school and the chance to work within a nurturing, child‑centred environment.

The school provides a calm, structured setting with excellent facilities, including sensory rooms, outdoor learning spaces and thoughtfully designed classrooms. Staff are supported by a highly approachable Senior Leadership Team who value collaboration, wellbeing and professional development. It's a school where teachers feel trusted, supported and able to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering PPA cover across a range of classes
  • Teaching in the EYFS class for two days per week
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to pupils with diverse additional needs
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists and class teachers
  • Helping maintain a positive, inclusive and consistent learning environment

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous SEN experience or a strong interest in developing SEN expertise
  • Solid experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • EYFS/KS1 experience is highly desirable
  • Confident planning independently and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • This role is not suitable for ECTs

Pay & Contract

  • £180-£260 per day (umbrella)
  • Weekly pay
  • Long‑term position starting September 2026
