About this role
You will be required to use Trust documents, Instruction Charts and Care Plans in planning patient care You will be required to understand key End of Life issues and trends You will participate in organisational tasks such as planning off duty or annual leave You will assist with the day-to-day co-ordination of care and allocation with responsibility for the Support Workers and Student Nurses, acting as a Mentor. However, you will not be in a role where you must manage these team members or participate in recruitment or dismissal processes You will participate in mandatory, statutory and developmental education and training You will be responsible for adhering to policy such as Infection Control, Medical Devices, Health and Safety, and Information Governance regarding equipment issued to you such as laptops and mobile telephones Any strategies, plans, policies or procedures they are responsible for developing or reviewing. State which department, team or service this relates to. It may be helpful to describe any reporting requirements the post holder will have, both internal and external. Include any project planning or organisational tasks the post holder carries out, e.g. organising meetings or events, managing projects, setting rotas. This may include involvement with formal projects via the Programme Management Office (PMO), and responsibilities such as acting as project manager or Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for a project.
