About this role
To assist under supervision in the delivery of fundamental nursing care and a range of clinical duties in liaison with the multidisciplinary team, to ensure the effective and efficient running of the ward/ service. To contribute to the implementation and progression of a range of patient treatment and care packages as delegated by a registered healthcare professional; reporting back on progress To provide day to day supervision and /or support co-ordination of learners and juniorstaff acting both as a leader and role model for Nursing Assistants/Healthcare Support Worker (band 2) To maintain own personal development with support from ward/departmental manager and provide support and guidance to others to help their development To demonstrate a broad skill base, planning own duties and organising own day to day work activities To ensure the safety and wellbeing of service users and always working in a manner that promotes dignity and human rights through the adoption of high-quality person-centred care and principles.
