About this role
The Patient Dining Supervisor is responsible for the operational leadership, coordination, and quality assurance of patient dining services across allocated wards and clinical areas. The post holder will work with a high level of autonomy, ensuring the delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient‑centred meal service in line with NHS standards, food safety legislation, and Trust policies.
The role includes supervision and development of staff, oversight of daily service delivery, management of resources, monitoring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and contributing to service improvement initiatives. The post holder will deputise for management as required and act as a key point of contact for wards, dietitians, and clinical teams.
