The salary for this position is negotiable, ranging from £180 to £250 per day, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to the unique learning needs of students with special educational requirements
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, therapists, and other educational professionals, to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure the continuous growth and development of each student
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, and academic growth of students
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest educational policies, methodologies, and best practices in SEN education
• Effectively communicate with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to ensure a strong partnership and shared understanding of student progress and needs
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to student progress, IEPs, and other relevant information
• Actively contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's SEN programme

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a SEN Teacher, preferably in a South London-based educational setting
• In-depth knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and a strong understanding of the unique educational needs of students with special requirements
• Proven track record of designing and implementing effective, engaging, and differentiated lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Proficient in using technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience
• Highly organised, with strong time management and multi-tasking abilities
