Are you looking for a job in a friendly, supportive, and diverse team? We’d love for you to join us! We have a band 6 post available in our mainstream primary schools’ team.

This job is linked to new funding that we have received to increase the number of SLT reports that we provide for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments.

Part of your week (3 days) will be dedicated to assessing children, speaking to school staff and parents, and then writing advice reports in a timely manner.

The other part of your week (2 days) will be working in an allocated mainstream school, supporting children, families and school staff across specialist, targeted and universal services.

The bulk of your work will be with children aged 5-11, but you may be required to work with younger or older children if this is needed by the service.

The post holder works as a member of the Speech and Language Therapy Children’s Service. He / she works as a member of the team that provides support to children in mainstream primary and secondary schools, across language resource provisions and alternative provisions. The post holder participates in the assessment and advice service as well as supporting a designated caseload of children and schools in line with the service priorities.
