Class 2 Drivers

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers on a Temp to Perm basis.

Driver's shifts

We are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to work afternoon/evening start times on an ad-hoc basis.

• 0300-0600 start times
• Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday
• Ad-Hoc weekend work available (Friday, Saturday & Monday)
• Average 9-hour shift

Drivers pay & benefits

• All hours are paid at £19.74 her hour*

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 2

Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• 4-8 deliveries per shift
• Heavy manual handling
• Delivering Raw, prepared and ready to heat meals to resturants, pubs, hotels & kitchens
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 2 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Aged 25+ for insurance purposes
• Have good customer service skills
• Previous experience using a sack barrow or Pallet truck is preferred
• Must have at least 6 months multi-drop experience
