The Estates team are responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of circa 500 sites around the UK to meet the requirements of HM Coastguard for Rescue Coordination Centres, Coastguard Rescue Centres and radio sites, UK Maritime Services Marine Offices, and other key functions of the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) such as the Agency Headquarters.

As a Compliance and Facilities Officer, you will support the effective delivery of facilities services for all building users through the monitoring the performance and delivery of the Total Facilities Management Contract.
Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to
Support the oversight and management of the Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract.Ensure that the Agency’s buildings are safe and compliant through managing the Landlords and the TFM contractor to undertake all the necessary checks and inspections as set out within the contractMaintain all necessary records and documentation relating to Statutory Inspections and Health & Safety Certification to ensure they are accurate and updated.Complete any day-to-day administration for the delivery of the TFM contract.Maintain the Building Management system to ensure it is up to date.Provide regular reports about the performance of the TFM ContractorProvide timely and effective communication to stakeholders and monitor the status of works orders placed to ensure works completed on time and satisfactorily.For further information on the role, please read the role profile.
