We are seeking a warm, friendly and engaging Personal Assistant to support our happy, loving 4-year-old son at home and in the community.
He is a joyful, active little boy who loves the outdoors, especially park visits, swimming, bird watching, and watching cars and planes. He walks using a walking frame and, when tired, will happily bum-shuffle or use his buggy. He is very social, forms strong bonds, and enjoys greeting people with a cheerful high-five.
He communicates through babbling, a few English and Punjabi words, and gestures, and is beginning to explore Makaton, so any familiarity or willingness to learn would be a bonus but is not essential.
We are looking for someone smiley, bubbly, patient and playful, who enjoys spending time with young children and helping them explore the world in a fun and safe way.
The role involves regular weekly hours, with occasional additional hours offered to support during appointments such as eye appointments, providing extra continuity of care at home or in the community.
If you are kind, reliable and enthusiastic, we would love to hear from you.
