DAY SERVICE MANAGER CANTERBURY

Were hiring a Day Service Manager to lead a dedicated, passionate team supporting autistic individuals to live active and meaningful lives.
Location
Canterbury (just a short walk from the city centre)
Salary
£33,000 per year
Hours
Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) with on-call responsibility
You'll be
o Leading and developing a strong support team
o Driving high-quality, person-centred care
o Building relationships with families and professionals
o Making a real impact every single day
Our service is vibrant and active. From coastal trips and swimming to Day trips to London, no two days are the same!
Were looking for someone with
o 5+ years leadership experience in care
o Strong knowledge of safeguarding and legislation
o A passion for delivering outstanding support

ABOUT YOU
o Were looking for a confident, visible leader who can inspire and develop a specialist care team.
You will have
o At least 5 years experience coaching and leading care teams, with a focus on practice leadership
o The ability to respond quickly and effectively to challenges, ensuring safety and positive risk management
o Strong knowledge and experience of regulatory frameworks, including the Care Act, Health and Social Care Act, Safeguarding, DoLS, MCA, capacity, and best interest processes
o Ideally, a Level 5 Health and Social Care Qualification or equivalent
