About this role
A new SEN Teaching Assistant position is now available at a supportive school in Chessington. You’ll be joining a knowledgeable and talented team who all share the common goal of supporting children as they work towards their individual goals.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your duties will include
- Being a positive role model and promoting a love for learning
- Ensuring children are making good progress
- Working in collaboration with the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
- Leading interventions for small groups of children with SEN
Previous experience working with children with SEN would be beneficial for this SEN Teaching Assistant role, however if you’re willing to learn and get stuck in then we’d love to hear from you!
This is a full-time role working from Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm so you get to build positive working relationships with students and colleagues and provide consistency in the classroom.
