You will need to be able to prioritise and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Talent Pool
UCLH utilises a Talent Pool to manage Band 3 recruitment. This coordinated approach centralises recruitment into Band 3 Healthcare positions across the Trust. It enables us to match successful candidates to suitable vacancies as they arise, across wards and departments.

How It Works

Application
Submit your application to join the Talent Pool.
2.
Assessment and Interview
Attend a face-to-face recruitment selection event with our nursing recruitment team. It is important that you only attend a face-to-face recruitment selection event once you have been allocated a date. This allocation will come to you from Trac. Please do not attend on any other day as you will not be seen.
3.
Matching
If your interview is successful, we will begin matching you with current vacancies based on our needs and your suitability.
4.
Placement
You may be placed within six months, depending on our vacancies and alignment with organisational needs, with the option to extend this period by an additional six months if necessary.
While in the Talent Pool, candidates may continue in their current employment or seek other opportunities elsewhere. Once a candidate accepts a position, a conditional offer will be issued, and pre-employment checks will begin.

Our recruitment process will include an assessment in the morning, and an interview in the afternoon for those who achieve the passing mark in the assessments. Interview times are allocated once all the numeracy and literacy assessments have been completed and marked. Please plan to be with us for the entire day.
