We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Day Time SIA trained Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety of our organisation while developing valuable security skills.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential security threats or hazards.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by deterring theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, and observations in accordance with organisational procedures.
- Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services during critical situations.
Skills
- Proven experience with surveillance systems and CCTV operation – SIA trained personnel
- Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and best practices.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting incidents clearly and professionally.
- Organised and reliable with a professional appearance and demeanour. This role is vital in safeguarding our organisation’s assets and ensuring a secure environment for all personnel and visitors.
